This fun & colorful senior session was so fun to be a part of!! McKenna, right in the heart of The University of Texas at Austin campus was the star of the show and I loved every second of it! This was a completely new experience for me, as I had never traveled all the way to Austin just for a session. And you know what? I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to do it again! Our main goal was to capture McKenna’s grad photos. What made this session unique was not just the person I was photographing – McKenna is a joy to be around – but also the location. Everything was new to me, so I spent a good amount of time scouting out the perfect spots online beforehand. Luckily, everything was within a 5-minute walk, which was so convenient!
The University of Texas campus is incredibly versatile when it comes to photo locations. We found sooo many super cute spots on campus that it was hard to choose just a few! From the stunning architecture of the university buildings to the energy of the students, every corner of the campus offered something special. One of the highlights was visiting the Alpha Phi sorority house. McKenna is a member of this sorority, and we took some stunning photos on the steps of the house. They turned out amazing and added an extra personal touch to her session!
Another fun part of our session was popping confetti at a super popular spot on campus known as “the green door.” The vibrant colors of the confetti perfectly matched McKenna’s lively personality and added a playful touch to our photo shoot. And guess what? We also popped champagne! Popping champagne is a traditional activity for college grad sessions, and let me tell you, it was as much fun as it sounds. The moment the cork popped, McKenna’s face lit up with joy, and I was able to capture that priceless moment.
I had the best time capturing McKenna’s Senior session at the University of Texas, and I would love to capture more like this. So, if you are planning your graduation pics, don’t hesitate to reach out! I would love to capture your grad pics in the most authentic way possible.
