I had the privilege to second shoot a stunning western wedding at Peach Creek Ranch, and I’m so excited to share my experience with you! The couple, Savannah and Zach, were an absolute dream to work with! The lead photographer, @byshelbycole, did a fantastic job and it was an honor to work alongside her. The couple was super easy-going and had a relaxed approach to their wedding day. This laid-back approach added a wonderful layer of authenticity to the entire celebration. It was clear from the beginning that their focus was on the love they share and the commitment they were making to each other.

AMAZING WESTERN WEDDING DAY

The ceremony was incredibly sweet! Savannah and Zach did something I’ve never seen before – they branded a cowhide. Using hot branding irons with their initials – their first names and shared last name initial – they marked the cowhide. This deeply symbolic act represented the couple’s union, as the two became inseparably one on their newly branded cowhide. The reception was so fun! It was filled with emotion, with heartfelt toasts from friends and family that brought both laughter and tears. The entire day was sentimental, sweet, and simple, yet so meaningful. It was the kind of day that reminded me why I love doing what I do!

Throughout the day, there were so many sweet moments that I had the joy of capturing. One of my favorites was when Savannah’s dad gave her a gift – a framed poster with a phrase he used to say to her every night before bed. I can’t even begin to express how happy I was to capture that moment. I’m sure it meant the world to Savannah!
