Welcome to HCM Photos! I’m here to guide you every step of the way to make sure you feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after our time together. You will arrive at your shoot knowing exactly what to expect and trusting the quality of the images you’ll receive. I’ve put together this mini guide, so you know exactly what to expect when you book your senior session with me! so let’s get into it.

#1 Booking Your Senior Session

First things first, you’ll need to choose your package. Personally, if I were a senior, I’d want to get the most out of my senior photos by booking The Loveshack Package. It’s the most versatile and valuable package I offer, providing you with a lot in return for the price! Once you’ve selected your preferred date, you have to submit a $50 retainer and sign the contract to secure your session! This retainer is non-refundable as it holds your date, ensuring you get the time you’ve chosen. The remaining balance for your session is due on the day of your session. You can view my pricing online and contact me if you have any questions about the packages. I am here to help and answer any questions!

#2 Preparation & Timeline for Your Senior Session

I will most likely prepare a notes document between the two of us in order to share some general knowledge with each other and just get our thoughts and ideas out on a doc. Some examples of things on here will be links to hair & makeup artists within the area of our session, photos of your outfits so I can match each outfit with the best location, etc. I’ve collected the best list of locations that will perfectly match your style and vision. From urban settings to natural landscapes, I’ve got you covered! I can also connect you with talented hair and makeup artists who will help you look and feel your best. Looking your best boosts your confidence, which will shine through in your photos.

Need help with outfits? My editing style goes really well with pastels, pink, green, yellow, etc. If you ask for my thoughts in your session questionnaire, I will definitely help you out with your fits! We’ll dive into timeline details to make sure everything runs smoothly. On the day of your session, we’ll start with your least important outfit/location to warm up and get a feel for the lighting. This creates the perfect icebreaker before capturing you in your favorite outfits and locations!

#3 On the Day of Your Session

We’ll begin with your least important outfit/location. This is a great way to break the ice and get comfortable with the camera. I will guide you in candid posing to keep the experience genuine and comfortable. We’ll use the surrounding architecture to complement your style and vibe. Your job is to look cute, and my job is to handle the details and capture you authentically. Your session is going to be fun and stress-free! Trust me!

#4 After Your Session & Additional Information

Yes, I do edit out any distractions in the photos, like unnecessary objects or people in the background. I make sure that the final images are polished and perfect. I will always shoot at locations of property that you may own. However, for private or members-only properties, we need permission. For example, Miramont Country Club only allows photographers to shoot members. I serve Houston, The Woodlands, Round Top, Brenham, Bryan, and surrounding areas. Since I am based in College Station, there is a travel fee for some locations. I also occasionally travel to Austin, Texas for UT grads.
