I recently had the pleasure of capturing a sweet & thoughtful engagement session for an incredibly sweet couple, Emily & Harrison. The day was filled with so much love, surprises, and a carefully planned itinerary that took us to some of the most meaningful places in their relationship. Let me take you through their special day! It all started with Emily & Harrison driving to College Station from Houston. Harrison, with a little help from his sister, had put together a detailed itinerary for the day. The first stop? A nail salon where Emily met with her friends. But this was just the start of surprises for Emily!
E&H Sweet & Thoughtful Engagement Session
Throughout the day, Emily received a series of riddles, each one leading her to a new location that held meaning in their relationship. The riddles, created by chat GPT, were fun, engaging, and had a unique touch that added a sense of adventure to the day! Emily’s journey took her from Kyle Field to the KD sorority house, the Social Lounge in Northgate, her gym, their first date spot, and the Century Tree on the Tamu campus. Each spot was a chapter of their love story, a reminder of their journey together. The final clue led Emily to a friend’s house where she prepared for the proposal.
Meanwhile, Harrison and I were at the George Bush Library, planning the perfect spot for him to propose. Harrison asked several strangers to hold roses to give to Emily as they walked towards the gazebo. The anticipation was building, and I could see the excitement in Harrison’s eyes. Then the moment arrived. As Emily approached, the strangers handed her the roses. Harrison got down on one knee and asked the question. Once he proposed it was so sweet, all of the strangers jumped, and screamed, and celebrated for Emily & Harrison.
But the day wasn’t over yet! After the proposal, we took some beautiful couple photos before heading to Messina Hoff Vineyard for a celebration dinner. We took more photos in the vineyard, capturing the joy of Emily & Harrison, surrounded by their loved ones. The light was just perfect. Editing the photos was so fun! The colors were vibrant, and the light made every shot look magical. The gallery was truly touching, and what made it more special was the thought and care Harrison put into planning it. Every detail was meticulously thought out, making the day a beautiful celebration of their love story.
